Do you have questions about God? Have you wondered if there is more to life than this? Why did Jesus have to die? Alpha is a safe space to ask questions and for anyone to feel free to say what’s on their minds about God, Jesus, Christianity, and more. Alpha is a 10-week series exploring the basics of the Christian faith in a relaxed, low-key environment. Each evening begins with dinner, followed by a video series and discussion.

Steve & Mary Appleby share what Alpha means to them:

“Mary and I have been married for three and a half years. We were both widowed when we met. Mary had been married for 36 years, and I had been married for 42. We have both experienced severe health issues during our relationship together. We came to Alpha to see what it had to offer and found out what our Lord had to offer, and it was the beginning of our real relationship with Jesus. Alpha planted a seed in us and our relationship, and it has been growing ever since. We have experienced dark times, God saw us through, and since Alpha, our faith continues to grow, and we have met people willing to help us on our journey through life.”
