KidStep Ministries

Sunday Morning Nursery is looking for loving volunteers to serve our cutest and most important guests! Each week we have three classes for babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age, and we need your help to keep our nursery open. This ministry is so important as it offers parents an opportunity to attend our worship service or a connect group without distractions.

CORE Ministries

CORE has opportunities to serve as small group leaders on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. They also have a Wednesday cafe and could use volunteers to bake cookies and sell candy to students.

Welcome Team

On any given Sunday morning, new guests enter our building. It takes approximately seven different touch points for a guest to feel welcomed. We have opportunities to serve at The Hub, as a greeter, or on the Coffee Team.

Compassion Ministries

On Sunday, May 3, during Church: Beyond the Walls, we went into our communities to serve on various projects and show the love of Jesus to our neighbors. This was a one-day event, but there are opportunities to participate in similar projects throughout the year.

Hershey Free has a behind-the-scenes ministry that may seem small but has a huge impact within the community and the church building. Our Compassion Ministries includes a clothing bank, food bank, financial coaching, medical supply donations, and financial assistance. The following are areas where you can help!

• Hands-on helps (minor home repairs)
• Seasonal help (installing air conditioners, raking)
• Hospitality (church events - food service, clean-up)
• Communion (preparing and cleaning up after communion services)
• Financial Coaches
• Visitation (maintain personal contact with our home-bound, care facility, and hospital residents)
