KidStep Ministries
Sunday Morning Nursery is looking for loving volunteers to serve our cutest and most important guests! Each week we have three classes for babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age, and we need your help to keep our nursery open. This ministry is so important as it offers parents an opportunity to attend our worship service or a connect group without distractions.
CORE Ministries
CORE has opportunities to serve as small group leaders on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. They also have a Wednesday cafe and could use volunteers to bake cookies and sell candy to students.
Welcome Team
On any given Sunday morning, new guests enter our building. It takes approximately seven different touch points for a guest to feel welcomed. We have opportunities to serve at The Hub, as a greeter, or on the Coffee Team.

Short-Term Opportunities
Alpha | Thursdays, starting January 15 through March 18 | 6:30 to 8:15 PM | Auditorium
For several years, Hershey Free Church has joyfully hosted the Alpha program, a space where people can explore faith, ask questions, and encounter God’s love in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Alpha provides a unique opportunity for both seekers and believers to grow in their understanding of Jesus and the Christian faith.
Alpha offers weekly gatherings that combine meaningful conversation, fellowship, and a shared meal. Each session is designed to create an open, judgment-free space where participants can ask life’s big questions—about faith, purpose, forgiveness, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.
Alpha is more than a program; it is a journey of discovery. It brings together people from all walks of life, encouraging authentic dialogue and creating opportunities for God to work in the hearts of those who attend. Whether you are seeking, exploring, or growing in your faith, Alpha welcomes you to come, share, and discover. Childcare is also available if needed.
