Take a Step - Gather in Worship
We believe a disciple of Jesus is someone who Lives with Jesus, Loves like Jesus, and Leads Others to do the Same. Practically speaking, as you continue your journey of Live/Love/Lead, we hope that you gather in worship, join a group, and join us on-mission. By living a life of worship, we want to be a place where you learn what it means to have your identity rooted in Christ and experience God’s presence more deeply. Catch up on past sermons and live a life of worship.
Along those lines, we also acknowledge that the church is large, and it can be hard to know how to get involved. We encourage everyone to take a step. That step will look different for everyone. Life can be busy, and not everyone will take the same path. Throughout the year, we will offer short-term opportunities for you to gather in worship. Also, at any time, join our consistent, ongoing rhythms that will help you go deeper in your life with Jesus.
On-Going Rhythms
A consistent, on-going rhythm is engaging with our worship services in person and online. You can find current and past sermons in audio and video format for those times when you cannot join us. All sermons also include a devotional guide and notes.

Short-Term Opportunities
Tuesday Prayer Focus
Our staff and elders encourage each of you to consider setting aside intentional time each Tuesday to pray and fast as we discern next steps for Hershey Free Church (if Tuesday doesn’t work, choose any time or day of the week that works best for you). A scripture verse will be posted on social media each Tuesday for you to pray and reflect on. Also, check out the prayer opportunities in the Happenings and on the Feature Wall.
During this season of transition, join together in prayer for:
- God, first and foremost, to be glorified above all else
- church unity, joyful expectation, and excitement about next steps
- all of us to continue to see God at work personally and corporately
- church leadership as initial decisions are made based on advice from the NL Moore consulting firm
Prayer
At Hershey Free Church, we hope that you become people of prayer, not just people who pray. To that end, we want to embed prayer as a significant rhythm in all our ministry areas. We aim to create environments for children, students, and adults to engage in meaningful prayer that leads to a deeper transformational relationship with God and others.
